DONATIONS & PLEDGES
1. Donating to W.A.V.E.
* We are a pending 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means that our tax exempt status with the IRS is pending. This means that any donations over $75 will not be accepted until we have received our tax-exempt status with the IRS. We expect our tax-exempt status to be approved by late September. All actual donations received, after we are approved our tax-exempt status, will be tax deductible for all of our contributors. *
Currently we are collecting "PLEDGES" form anyone who wishes to pledge a donation to "THE BLUE BARREL" project. Read below and find out how to pledge a contribution to W.A.V.E.
2. Pledge a donation to W.A.V.E.
When you pledge a contribution to W.A.V.E., you are NOT SIGNING A LEGAL CONTRACT. You simply believe in the project and are making a "Promise" to donate to "THE BLUE BARREL" project. Once we have raised enough pledges to fund the project, we will call upon all of our contributors and collect the donations that have been pledged to the project. At that time you may then make to decision to, or not to, follow through with you pledge.

Wyoming Arts Venue & Entertainment INC. is a 501(c)(3)-pending non-profit organization. The organization plans, organizes, and supervises community benefit arts projects through the use of community contributions. Wyoming Arts Venue & Entertainment INC. allocates all resources in accordance with the 501(c)(3) IRS regulations and elects to have all of its non-profit activities and expenditures measured as defined by IRS regulations. The organization is fully compliant with its IRS Forms 1023 and Articles of Incorporation filings. As of mid-2008, Wyoming Arts Venue & Entertainment is a “pending” 501(c)(3) organization. What this means is that you, as a prospective contributor are free to make donations on the basis of your personal decision to do so absent our IRS Determination Letter and with the possibility we could be denied tax exempt status. We have sought out legal and accounting advice and counsel in preparation of our applications and we trust their work. Therefore, we believe we will be determined tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code, and expect that to occur before the end of September 2008. All contributions made after May 1st, 2008 will be tax detuctible upon receiving our IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
